A Risk-Based ‘Cybermaturity’ Approach to Build Board Confidence and Resiliency
By reframing the Cybersecurity discussion into a context that your Board will understand, CISOs, CSOs and other high-level IT leaders can establish alignment between culture and strategy leading to sustainable enterprise resilience.
For all enterprises, it is a matter of when, not if, a breach will occur. And when that inevitable day comes, the enterprise needs to be ready, to be in a cyber-resilient position. Yet, an astonishing 87 percent of board directors and C-level executives lack confidence in their company’s cybersecurity posture.
It’s time for senior security leaders to step forward to arm boards and C-level executives with the information and knowledge they need to focus organizational resources and investment to guard their organization’s “crown jewels”.
CMMI Institute interviewed hundreds of CISOs/CSOs to understand common challenged and best practices for solving them. Informed by that feedback, CMMI Institute built a risk-based capability maturity platform. The platform is an enterprise platform that can support organization of varying complexity and security demands while providing a clear understanding of the priorities an organization should attack first.
As the global leader in the advancement of best practices in people, processes and technology CMMI Institute enables organizations to benchmark their capabilities and build maturity by comparing their operations to best practices and identifying performance gaps.
1. Understand the challenges global organizations are facing and how leading organizations are solving.
2. Understand how a risk-based approach for prioritizing investment for organizations with varying complexity and security demands can help build board confidence and resiliency.
3. Understand the CMMI Institute’s holistic approach of assessing the maturity of an organization’s security capability maturity.
